One Big Difference
You don’t like something about America? Speak your mind! Criticize, suggest, lead or follow… but speaking out and taking initiative are DEADLY in countries without the American habit of Freedom of Speech. In America Freedom of Speech allows the free examination of our difficulties and what we think to be their causes. This (Freedom of Speech) makes America different from the oppressor-governments of our world today!
Another difference? In America people and businesses and corporations and non-profit organizations ARE FREE to GIVE AWAY their money to ordinary citizens, sometimes for tax benefits and sometimes just for private reasons.
It was THIS America, this generous wealthy nation of individuals, that I served honorably in the Army Security Agency… and the generosity, even with a small ‘Are You SERIOUS?’ price-tag, is still with us today, thank God!
